1. Service Description

Video Blur is an iOS video-editing App that can:

• Detect and blur faces using mosaic or smooth blur;
• Selectively blur individual people with Pro;
• Blur video backgrounds with Pro;
• Preview, export, save, and share edited videos.

Media analysis and rendering occur locally on your device. Some functions require an internet connection for anonymous account setup, product information, purchases, restores, and subscription verification.

2. Anonymous Account and Eligibility

The App creates an anonymous account automatically and does not require a name, email address, or password. You must be legally permitted to use the App and, if you are not old enough to accept these Terms in your country, use it only with authorization from a parent or legal guardian.

3. Your Videos and Responsibilities

• You retain your rights in videos and other content you import, edit, export, save, or share.
• You are responsible for having all rights and permissions needed to edit and share your content, including privacy, publicity, copyright, and other intellectual-property rights.
• You are responsible for reviewing the output and deciding whether the blur sufficiently protects the people or information in your video before sharing it.
• You are responsible for maintaining backups of source and exported videos. Deleting projects, clearing local data, or removing the App may permanently remove local files.

4. Free Features and Video Blur Pro

Free users can use automatic face blur and export up to 1080p for the first 60 seconds of a video. Video Blur Pro may unlock selective face blur, background blur, original-duration exports, and source-resolution exports when supported by the device. Available features and technical limits may change as the App is updated.

5. Subscriptions, Trials, and Billing

• Weekly and yearly auto-renewable Pro subscriptions may be offered through the App Store. Current prices, billing periods, and any introductory offer are shown in the App before purchase.
• Payment is charged to your Apple Account after you confirm the purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• You can manage or cancel a subscription in your Apple Account settings. Deleting the App does not cancel a subscription.
• Restore Purchases is available in the App. Refunds and billing disputes are handled under Apple's applicable policies.

6. Acceptable Use

You may not use the App or its network services to:

• Violate law or the rights of another person;
• Harass, exploit, impersonate, defraud, or harm others;
• Interfere with, reverse engineer, or bypass App security;
• Automate abusive requests or disrupt the anonymous account or subscription services;
• Distribute malware or other harmful code.

7. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains local media processing, anonymous account identifiers, subscription verification, service providers, retention, and your privacy choices.

8. Our Intellectual Property

The App, software, branding, interface, documentation, and related materials are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These Terms do not grant you ownership of the App or permission to use our branding except as necessary to use the App.

9. Updates and Availability

We may update, add, restrict, suspend, or discontinue features to maintain security, comply with law, improve performance, or support new operating-system versions. Device compatibility, processing time, output quality, and available resolutions depend on the source video, device, storage, memory, and iOS version.

10. Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the App is provided "as is" and "as available". Face detection and blur are automated and may miss, partially cover, or incorrectly identify a person or background. We do not guarantee that an output will meet a particular legal, professional, or security requirement. You must inspect each output before relying on or sharing it.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, content, revenue, profits, or goodwill, arising from use of or inability to use the App. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

12. Termination

You may stop using the App at any time. We may restrict access to network services if you materially violate these Terms, create a security risk, or use the service unlawfully. Subscription cancellation remains subject to Apple's billing process.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post revised Terms with a new effective date and provide additional notice when required. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the revised Terms.
